S.P.I.R.I.T. Award

I won the SPIRIT Award, actually, I was a runner up. The SPIRIT award was something our company came up with last year to honor and recognize those who “go above and beyond” to help out and show stellar teamwork. I missed the change control meeting where they announce these awards because I had actual work to do… but I was given the Cliff notes version of why I was given the award. I contributed to a ‘critical’ project, Team Foundation Server. I dropped everything I was working on, to rack 7 servers in the datacenter. Unfortunately we were out of rack space, so I had to prep a new cabinet and relocate raised floor. I hear the project was a success. Yay me.
Unfortunately this did nothing for my review.
